Inspired by a time when change was abound, the 1960's wink at our Winter 2011 collection. Holding on tight to 1950's homemaking ideals whilst experimenting with new found freedoms that the new decade promises brings about a wonderful example of contrast and questioning. Exploring the form of the shoe as a whole has lead us back to 2003 when we developed the underside of the arche area in search of new shaping possibilities. Using only classic components this season, the shape is challenged by subverting the area least explored. The results; fantastically new forms! Metallic leathers are paired with aged, battered skins. Natural finishes with synthetic foils. Mixing old and new with a few surprises is the way forward!
